In 1997 micron parts and precision engineering factory was opened here in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, although we have been operating a general machine shop for the last 6 years under the name of Great Eastern, this was solely a manually equipped machining operation.
At micron we have installed new computer controlled machines in the form of CNC Turning centers, (Lathes), CNC cylindrical grinding and Surface grinding machines.
Two main purpose of the new factory is to provide a parts and machining service to manufacturers and service companies from the new industrial areas around the Kingdom. This service will concentrate on competitively priced quality precision parts to customer's specifications and machining subcontract work for manufacturers, within the scope of our equipment.
We can turn and mill all materials from Aerospace alloys and steels, to plastics.
